Essence lipstick in "55 Coralize Me!"

Bad picture :( Swatched

Okay, so I've wanted a coral lipstick for ages, I love the shade. When I spotted this Essence one in Penneys I couldn't resist as it's only €2.49. My first impressions was that the packaging felt light and cheap but I wouldn't expect much for the price. I tried this on and it's a really natural shade but... It made my lips look terribly chapped and after a half an hour the colour had faded completely (without eating or drinking). Very dissapointed with this product, maybe I'll try lip balm under it next time!

Mini Nail Polish Haul!

Hey Everyone!
I was in Tk Maxx a while ago and I saw an amazing deal - 3 OPI nail polishes' for €12!
So I had to buy them...
This will probably sound crazy to some of you, but these are my first ever OPI's, so I'm so excited to use them.
They're so expensive here in Ireland, you'd pay €12 or €13 or even more for just one, that's why I've never bought any before, and also, they're really hard to find :O

Anyway, here are the colours:
From left:
1. Chop-Sticking To My Story - Hong Kong Collection
-It's a beautiful muted-burnt-ginger-orange colour.

2. Fiercly Fiona - Shrek Forever After Collection
-A pastel yellow with a bit of a lime green tint thrown in.

3. Bling Dynasty - Hong Kong Collection
-A kind of dirty bronze-gold.
(It reminds me of Baked from my Urban Decay Book of Shadows IV, or Half Baked from the Naked Palettes)

The only shade I've tried is Bling Dynasty - It lasted ages without a top coat!

C'ya!

*Sorry about the terrible photo quality - I took it on my Blackberry in really bad lighting = disaster :P

Shoe Update!

Hey everyone!
Today, I was just looking st some clothing and footwear items on Brand Alley  (www.brandalley.co.uk) and I saw some adorable shoes! Brand Alley is one of those sites that sells of designer items (I think!) for great prices - but enough about them! Here's some pics of the shoes I'm eyeing:

These are the Feud Black Linea Leather Boots (£55 - originally £140)
I completely love these! I really admire the worn leather look, and the buckle detailing on the edges. For some reason, the laces catch my attention (weird, right?).<3 <3 <3

Next up:

These are the Feud Burgundy Cision Boot (£49 - originally £120)
I know some people won't like this burnt-pinky colour, but that's what draws me to them!
Like the Black Linea's, these have the same worn leather look. There's similar styles available in blue (http://www.brandalley.co.uk/FSRayon/Id-12434-Produit-0-Rayon-789271) and black (http://www.brandalley.co.uk/FSRayon/Id-12434-Produit-0-Rayon-789272)
The weird thing is, I'm not sure if these lace-up's are men's or women's, but who cares? I think they work for either!

I hope you guys enjoyed this little update - I love those sites that have super-amazing discounts!

Thanks!

Tiny, Mini Haul

Tribal Earrings- €1.60

Wedges- €24.99

Knit Jumper- €14

Recently went into the city and visited New Look, Forever 21 and Penneysss. Picked up a couple of pretty things that I'd like to share so the photos are above. The first are some tribal earrings from Forever 21 and they were €1.60, which is so cheap. They're really light and pretty so I'd recommend them a lot.

Next up are some small wedges from New Look. This was kind of love at first sight for me, these are gorgeous. I walked around in them at the shop and they're also so comfy :D Can't wait to wear these out. And they were €24.99 :D

Last but not least is a knit top from Penneys (Primark). It's so pretty, I love these hole-y type sweaters. This was really, really cheap at €14 flat.

Our Polyvore

Review: Benefit Magic Ink Liquid Eyeliner

I got this eyeliner a while ago for my birthday, and I've used it A LOT. It was my first ever liquid eyeliner, and I've gotten some more since I got it, but I always come back to this!

It glides on beautifully, and adds great definition and drama to my upper lash line. The brush is the perfect size, not too thick or too thin, and it's very easy to control. It's super easy to flick for a cat-eye look, and it's really black.

The only problem I've ever had is that the formula is quite wet, so you need to give it some time to dry. When I'm in a rush, I like to set it with black eyeshadow so it won't smudge.

It has amazing lasting power, and won't flake.

Overall, I'll give it a 9.5/10. I love this product so much!

*I don't own the pictures above. Sorry I can't upload swatches, I don't have a good camera atm, but I'll try get one soon!

Brushes from eBay

Megaga Professional Beauty

7 brushes in total

Lash & brow, flat shader, blush

More shaders, lip and an eyeliner/ eyebrow brush

I purchased these a couple of weeks ago. It's a Megaga Professional Beauty brush roll containing seven brushes in total. The roll is a gorgeous gold leather with the company name stamped into it and two gold ribbons to tie it together. The brushes are okay, my favourite is the blush brush as it's very soft. You can buy this on eBay for €3.28 ($4.28) with no extra cost for shipping! For what you get, I'd recommend buying: http://www.ebay.ie/itm/Make-up-kit-set-pen-cosmetic-brush-eyeshadow-eyelash-eyeliner-lipstick-Tool-W010-/220907600418?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item336f1e7a22#ht_3421wt_1344

Naked Palette: Review & Swatches

12 colours and "Good Karma" shadow brush

Swatched
Top, L to R: Toasted, Hustle, Creep and Gunmetal
Bottom, L to R: Virgin, Sin, Naked, Sidecar, Buck, Half Baked, Smog, Darkhorse

I received the Naked Palette for Christmas and I was over the moon as I had wanted this particular palette for so long but never had the money. It includes twelve shades in total, five of which are never-before-seen shades. It comes with a "Good Karma" shadow brush and UDPP, of course. The primer potion is the best, I use it with everything. I don't use the brush as much, but it does get a good bit of product onto it. Unfortunately, my mirror broke :( All in all, I use this palette EVERY day and love it so much!

Pink & Blue Leopard Print Nails: How to

Essence in "72 Fall for Me"

Rio in Black and a Shimmery Pink

And Again

1. I purchased false nails in Penneys (Primark) for €1.50.
2. Coated the nails with two coats of Essence in "72 Fall for Me" which is a light blue colour.
3. Next, I put random spots of pink on the nail using a shimmery pink colour.
4. I circled the pink with a big "C" on one side and a small "c" on the other.
5. I left some pink splodges for effect.
6. Coated in Konad topcoat polish for a long-lasting effect.

Max Factor Max Effect Lip Gloss

Easy to apply

Swatched

Blended

I got Max Factor's Max Effect Lip Gloss for Christmas off my little sister and I'm quite pleased! I love the pink colour and the name "07 Diva Pink" :) You'd think it would make your lips very pink but once blended it gives a nice light pink shimmer. It stays for a long time and I bring this everywhere!

Spring

I designed this on Polyvore. The floral dress from Modcloth is the focus of the outfit,  and I completed it with a satchel from H&M and a pair of Jeffrey Campbell's Litas in Taupe. A vintage inspired locket necklace finishes off this simple look.

Essence "quick dry" Topcoat

Catrice in "050 Moulin Rouge Light"

1. Coat your nails with a base coat.
2. I applied two coats of Catrice "050 Moulin Rouge Light".
3. Next, I used topcoat nail polish to stick four rhinestones diagonally on my ring finger.
4. Using Konad Stamping Kit, I stamped a design UNDER the rhinestones.
5. I used an Essence topcoat to seal.
