Haul! MAC + Lush
So, recently we went into the city for some shopping! We mainly wanted to go to MAC, and we spent most of our time there testing products and swatching colours :) This is my first ever MAC haul, and it's not too much stuff... I can't wait to save up some more and go back! Anyway, enjoy <3
The first thing I got was MAC's lipstick in Hue.
Most of you have probably heard of this already, as it's kinda famous.
It's a soft, pinky-nude colour with a creamy finish.

Next, I got the Mineralize Skinfinish Natural in the shade Medium.
The girl matched me to this shade, but I think it might be a tiny bit light...
I used this this morning and I really like it, it's low coverage, it gives a nice natural matte finish.

Then I bought the eyeshadow Expensive Pink (Veluxe Pearl) in pan form. I really love this colour!
It's a pinkish, coral gold colour, and just perfect for spring.

Last thing from MAC is just the empty Custom Palette x4. I can't wait to fill this up!

And then from Lush, all I got was the Mask of Magnaminty. I got the small tub just to try it...
It is so refreshing and cooling, and left my skin so soft!
I'll definitely be repurchasing when I finish it :)

DIY Beauty: Body Scrubs!
Hey Everyone! <3
So today I thought that I'd share some simple DIY Body Scrub recipes that are super easy to make! I love these because they can look really cute in nice little glass jars, and the ingredients are really simple so you could grab them from your kitchen and have it made in the next five minutes! They'd also make a nice little spring gift for some friends, if you put them in cute packaging with a little ribbon!
For Christmas, I got one of the Body Shop's Body Scrub, and I loved it. The only thing is, it didn't last very long, and it was around €10, which is a lot compared to the price this DIY Scrub costs you!
1.Honey Sugar Scrub
-One Cup of White Sugar
-Half a Cup of Honey
-A few Drops of Vanilla Essence
2. Sweet Sugar Scrub
-One Cup of Brown Sugar
-Half a Cup of Mashed Avocado
-One Cup of Olive Oil
3. Banana Sugar Scrub
-1 Banana
-4 Tablespoons Granulated Sugar
-A few Drops of Vanilla Essence
4. Chocolate Body Scrub
-Half a Cup of White Sugar
-Half a Cup of Brown Sugar
-A few Tablespoons of Olive Oil
-4 Tablespoons Cocoa Powder
5.Sea Salt Scrub
-Half a Cup of Sea Salt
-Half a Cup of Olive Oil
-A few Drops of an Essential Oil
6.Lemon Sugar Scrub
-One Cup of White or Brown Sugar
-Half a Cup of Olive Oil
-A Tablespoon of Grated Lemon Zest
So, as you can see, all the ingredients above are amazingly natural, and you don't have any of those chemicals that some shop-bought scrubs might have!
You can vary the ingredients a lot, using different types of sugars and oils. Some sugars are finer than others, too, so depending on how rough a scrub you want, vary that, too <3
So, as for the instructions?
Just mix all the ingredients together. For the recipes that contain oil, be sure to add that last.

Febuary Favourites!
Hey Everyone!
Today I have some Feb Faves to share with you guys. I barely bought any new products this month so I was really just using up some things that I've recently neglected. Let's get started!
Mascara:
Benefit Bad Gal Lash Mascara
So up until recently I was using Urban Decay's Supercurl Curling Mascara, and that gave a nice lift to my lashes, but in terms of volume I wasn't that impressed. So I tried Benefit's Bad Gal, and I love it! It gives great volume, perfect length, one of my favourite mascaras ever! :D
Eyeliner:

Blush:
Maybelline ExperWear Blush in Peach:
This is a lovely bronzey-baked-shimmery-peach blush (note: the pic above isn't the colour I'm talking about). I like dusting this just under my cheekbones for a nice shimmery effect. I know people normally put blush on the apples of their cheeks but I'm not a fan of that look on myself. This is a really reasonably priced blush, and it has a nice colour payoff. It's not nearly as pricey as MAC, but you get a really decent blush for the price.
Tinted Moisturiser:
Garnier BB Cream:
I'm kinda lazy with face makeup, and I barely bother with a full concealer/foundation look so sometimes in the mornings I just apply a bit of this. It's really hydrating, and a little goes a long way. It evens out my skintone, but if you tend to like medium to full coverage I don't think you'd like this. It gives a nice healthy glow, but isn't cakey at all.
I haven't really been using many other products, and as far as things like eyeshadows, concealers, and foundations - well, I've just been neglecting them! (Just like to mention Urban Decay's Buck Eyeshadow - I've been liking sweeping that into my crease to add a bit of dimension to my eye but I didn't want to do a full post on that!)

So I recently found this site called bornprettystore.com and I fell in love. They supply nail stuff mostly but they have makeup and accessories too. I went on a little spree and pressed 'add to cart' way too many times... Everything came wrapped in bubble wrap and foam. It was shipped on the 14th of February and arrived on the 1st of March so shipping wasn't bad since it came from Hong Kong!
Fimo canes
Came with two carousels and ten slicers
The first thing I got was a 100 pcs of Fimo canes. I've wanted these for ages and when I saw that they came with the carousels and the slicers I had to buy them! They cost $13.66. There are some I won't use, and I'll mostly use the fruit but all of them are so adorable! Smaller than expected though and slicers are super sharp.

42 designs
Next is this image plate. I loved the designs and the prices compared to Konad were dirt cheap! The only problem was that the design didn't cover my thumb :( But overall great at $7.56.
B. O. Youthful Light Blue
Er... Sorry about my nails...
Love, love, love, love this! It's so well pigmented and it was only $2.85. I really recommend this!
Colour changing nail polish
I had great fun with this! When you put your nails under cold water it changes purple, but when you run warm water over them they change blue... So much fun, very distracting! This was $7.84.

Last, but definitely not the least is a 500 pcs of false nails. They come in numbered bags and for each number there is a different size and in each bag there are 50 nails. Love these, can't wait to try! $5.63.

"40 natural beauty" and "20 babydoll"
I love these blushes! And so cheap too. "40 natural beauty" is a beige/ brown and "20 babydoll" is a baby pink. The names are so cute!

Essence lipstick in "55 Coralize Me!"

Okay, so I've wanted a coral lipstick for ages, I love the shade. When I spotted this Essence one in Penneys I couldn't resist as it's only €2.49. My first impressions was that the packaging felt light and cheap but I wouldn't expect much for the price. I tried this on and it's a really natural shade but... It made my lips look terribly chapped and after a half an hour the colour had faded completely (without eating or drinking). Very dissapointed with this product, maybe I'll try lip balm under it next time!

Mini Nail Polish Haul!
Hey Everyone!
I was in Tk Maxx a while ago and I saw an amazing deal - 3 OPI nail polishes' for €12!
So I had to buy them...
This will probably sound crazy to some of you, but these are my first ever OPI's, so I'm so excited to use them.
They're so expensive here in Ireland, you'd pay €12 or €13 or even more for just one, that's why I've never bought any before, and also, they're really hard to find :O
Anyway, here are the colours:
From left:
1. Chop-Sticking To My Story - Hong Kong Collection
-It's a beautiful muted-burnt-ginger-orange colour.
2. Fiercly Fiona - Shrek Forever After Collection
-A pastel yellow with a bit of a lime green tint thrown in.
3. Bling Dynasty - Hong Kong Collection
-A kind of dirty bronze-gold.
(It reminds me of Baked from my Urban Decay Book of Shadows IV, or Half Baked from the Naked Palettes)

Shoe Update!
Hey everyone!
Today, I was just looking st some clothing and footwear items on Brand Alley (www.brandalley.co.uk) and I saw some adorable shoes! Brand Alley is one of those sites that sells of designer items (I think!) for great prices - but enough about them! Here's some pics of the shoes I'm eyeing:
These are the Feud Black Linea Leather Boots (£55 - originally £140)
I completely love these! I really admire the worn leather look, and the buckle detailing on the edges. For some reason, the laces catch my attention (weird, right?).<3 <3 <3
Next up:
These are the Feud Burgundy Cision Boot (£49 - originally £120)
I know some people won't like this burnt-pinky colour, but that's what draws me to them!

Tiny, Mini Haul
Tribal Earrings- €1.60

Recently went into the city and visited New Look, Forever 21 and Penneysss. Picked up a couple of pretty things that I'd like to share so the photos are above. The first are some tribal earrings from Forever 21 and they were €1.60, which is so cheap. They're really light and pretty so I'd recommend them a lot.
Next up are some small wedges from New Look. This was kind of love at first sight for me, these are gorgeous. I walked around in them at the shop and they're also so comfy :D Can't wait to wear these out. And they were €24.99 :D
Last but not least is a knit top from Penneys (Primark). It's so pretty, I love these hole-y type sweaters. This was really, really cheap at €14 flat.

Review: Benefit Magic Ink Liquid Eyeliner
I got this eyeliner a while ago for my birthday, and I've used it A LOT. It was my first ever liquid eyeliner, and I've gotten some more since I got it, but I always come back to this!
It glides on beautifully, and adds great definition and drama to my upper lash line. The brush is the perfect size, not too thick or too thin, and it's very easy to control. It's super easy to flick for a cat-eye look, and it's really black.
The only problem I've ever had is that the formula is quite wet, so you need to give it some time to dry. When I'm in a rush, I like to set it with black eyeshadow so it won't smudge.
It has amazing lasting power, and won't flake.
Overall, I'll give it a 9.5/10. I love this product so much!
