Hey Everyone! <3
So today I thought that I'd share some simple DIY Body Scrub recipes that are super easy to make! I love these because they can look really cute in nice little glass jars, and the ingredients are really simple so you could grab them from your kitchen and have it made in the next five minutes! They'd also make a nice little spring gift for some friends, if you put them in cute packaging with a little ribbon!
For Christmas, I got one of the Body Shop's Body Scrub, and I loved it. The only thing is, it didn't last very long, and it was around €10, which is a lot compared to the price this DIY Scrub costs you!
1.Honey Sugar Scrub
-One Cup of White Sugar
-Half a Cup of Honey
-A few Drops of Vanilla Essence
2. Sweet Sugar Scrub
-One Cup of Brown Sugar
-Half a Cup of Mashed Avocado
-One Cup of Olive Oil
3. Banana Sugar Scrub
-1 Banana
-4 Tablespoons Granulated Sugar
-A few Drops of Vanilla Essence
4. Chocolate Body Scrub
-Half a Cup of White Sugar
-Half a Cup of Brown Sugar
-A few Tablespoons of Olive Oil
-4 Tablespoons Cocoa Powder
5.Sea Salt Scrub
-Half a Cup of Sea Salt
-Half a Cup of Olive Oil
-A few Drops of an Essential Oil
6.Lemon Sugar Scrub
-One Cup of White or Brown Sugar
-Half a Cup of Olive Oil
-A Tablespoon of Grated Lemon Zest
So, as you can see, all the ingredients above are amazingly natural, and you don't have any of those chemicals that some shop-bought scrubs might have!
You can vary the ingredients a lot, using different types of sugars and oils. Some sugars are finer than others, too, so depending on how rough a scrub you want, vary that, too <3
So, as for the instructions?
Just mix all the ingredients together. For the recipes that contain oil, be sure to add that last.
You can check out a ton more recipes by just searching it online!
Hope you enjoyed!
Let me know which is your favourite!
Thanks,
-C <3
